Mr. Poirier's practice focuses on construction and commercial litigation. Mr. Poirier represents clients in all aspects of the construction process, including contract procurement, claim development, and dispute resolution.
Mr. Poirier's most recent work includes working with an EPC contractor with claims in excess of $200 million on a 1000-megawatt natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant in Maryland and is currently assisting a contractor with claims in excess of $2 million over an engineering dispute on a bridge in Virginia. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Poirier worked as a judicial intern to the Honorable John E. Steele in the Middle District of Florida.
